NOTES

Sri Aurobindo's two poems on Krishna, his own Thoughts and Aphorisms on Krishna and Kali, and the Mother's account of a golden Krishna — a devotional film for the centenary of Siddhi Day, 24 November 1926.

This is a journey from Krishna the Beloved, through Krishna the Friend, the Playmate, the Master of Life, towards a moment when the Divine Presence was felt upon Earth in a new way — the day Krishna Consciousness itself descended to earth, one hundred years ago.

IN THIS FILM

• Two poems by Sri Aurobindo, both titled "Krishna": the sonnet of 15 September 1939, and the poem in Cretics metre

• Eleven passages from Sri Aurobindo's Thoughts and Aphorisms, on Krishna and Kali

• Siddhi Day, 24 November 1926 — the descent of Krishna Consciousness

 • The Mother's own account of a golden, dancing Krishna, 29 February 1960
